From the Alps to the Adriatic
Holiday Details
Two or three days will be spent on local walks in the Karst, mixed with a visit to the nearby coastal lagoons at Isonzo. In Slovenia we visit the Karstic lake of Cerknisko Jezero. Trips will include the Julian Alps for alpine flowers and birds and to the flower meadows in the pre-Alps – where there is a successful griffon vulture reintroduction project.
Price: £1,100 per person in twin room for a full week (Tuesday to Tuesday)
