Istria

leaders

Paul Tout lives in a village in the Italian Karst. Originally from Essex, until recently he was a teacher at the United World College of the Adriatic, as is his wife Ann. Paul set up and led the ‘From the Alps to the Adriatic’ holiday for Honeyguide back in 1992, but also goes farther afield into Croatia, leading to his idea for a new holiday on the peninsula of Istria.

Ivan Nethercoat is training officer for the RSPB’s youth and volunteer department. He is a regular and well-travelled Honeyguide leader, including many holidays in the Balearics and Crete, and most recently to Italy/Slovenia with Paul in 2007. His degree, many moons ago, was in photography, and he is very happy to help any photographers in the group.
