Saker falcon nests are guarded and monitored by young birders through the Bird of Prey Working Group of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society (MME – the Hungarian BirdLife partner). Threats to raptor nests include accidental disturbance by walkers, foresters and farm workers and direct threats from egg and chick robbers.
